I never thought I would be in a position where I needed to ask others for help, but right now, I am doing everything I can to keep a safe and secure home for my two children and our pets.

I am a single mother of two, and our family also includes our two dogs and our cat. They are not simply pets to us....they are part of our family, and our home is where all of us feel safe.

Unfortunately, our home was damaged when a natural disaster came through our area. One of the most serious problems we are facing is making home payments together with the damage to our roof. Since the damage occurred, I have been worried about what could happen the next time we experience heavy rain, strong winds, or another severe storm.

I contacted our insurance company hoping that the roof replacement would be covered. Unfortunately, the replacement has not been covered, leaving me facing a major expense that I simply cannot afford on my own.

As a single mom, I work hard to provide for my children and make sure they have food and clothes and what they need. But an unexpected roof replacement is an expense far beyond what I have been able to prepare for. My biggest concern is making sure my children and our animals have a safe, dry place to call home.

I am humbly asking for help raising enough money to replace our damaged roof, keep and protect our home from further damage. Every dollar raised will go toward the roof replacement and the necessary repairs to make our home safe again.

Asking for help is difficult for me, but I am putting my pride aside because my children and our animals depend on me. Any amount you can give would mean so much to our family. Even if you cannot donate, sharing our fundraiser could help us reach someone who can.
